The Avalon Rd. area in Winter Garden

We tend to get too caught up in what we see in the media, in what brokers post most often, or in what’s most popular. As a result, much of what could be extremely interesting—and even profitable—can go unnoticed.

When we’re considering new investment options with the goal of increasing the value and security of our assets, one of the most important qualities we can cultivate is broadening our horizons—not only to places we’ve already seen or are familiar with, but also to opportunities that may not seem obvious at first glance.

It’s important to take in the information and process it. Ask questions and understand how everything happens and unfolds. Try to see things through the eyes of those who are here, or of those presenting the projects to you, so you can understand and analyze them in a more neutral way.

I say this because today we have clients who have been with us for a few years and believed in the investment potential of Winter Garden when, to be honest, the area was still largely untapped—even by real estate agents. But we studied it, analyzed it, and believed in it, and today it’s the area where we receive the most inquiries.

Avalon Road was a very “deserted” road just a few years ago, but then Storey Grove, the famous The Grove Resort, and—more recently—developments like Winding Bay and Avalon Cove sprang up there. Today, it’s one of the hottest areas in terms of development and real estate projects. It’s the route we take to get to the Disney® parks—something that never loses its charm. Avalon Rd intersects with Western Way, a recently widened avenue that leads to one of the entrances to Disney®.

Developments are taking shape; more schools are popping up right on the street, and shopping centers are already under construction or in the planning stages. It’s important to recognize and keep in mind that here, once a project is approved, it happens—it comes to fruition—at an almost unbelievable pace. With that same speed, new developments arrive and sell out.

The intersection of Avalon and Western Way, the avenue that leads to the West entrance of the Disney® parks.

We took a tour of Avalon to try to show a little of this in practice, and today we’re already eyeing other areas that we began exploring a little over a year ago. As you can see in the video, the lots—if they aren’t already built on—are either under construction or have been sold. This is just a sample of the countless locations with potential for growth, appreciation, and an excellent quality of life!

Here at the office, we handle future and ongoing projects with great care, as they can lead to a higher return on investment, and we always share this analysis with you so that we can evaluate it together.
